An amazingly windy, powerful, delicious storm blew through Arroyo Hondo late Monday afternoon.....this was the sky as I was driving back from Taos to the west, over the Rio Grande Gorge and just to the north of Tres Piedras, the three peaked mountain.
This storm brought driving rain that came in horizontally, winds that I thought might take the house off the hill it sits on, and hail.River and Bogy, the flat back retrievers I'm hanging with, flanked me as we stood at the window and watched this storm ..... quite the event!
