I had lunch today with Lou Morgan at the Apple Tree, a local restaurant with excellent food! It's located in the main shopping/retail area of Taos. Lou is a real estate agent in Taos, who is also an accomplished artist who taught at the U of NM. She's also an avid hiker! When I first met Lou in Dec 03, she asked me to "sit" for her so she could do a chalk portrait - that was interesting! After lunch, stuffed, I took a walk along Valverde Road, which looks north and west over the Mesa.
